The top 5 time saving tips when using an iPhone

1. Use the hidden trackpad.

Did you know that your iPhone has a hidden trackpad? This feature can be really helpful when you need to make precise edits to text, such as correcting typos or highlighting a specific section. To use the hidden trackpad, simply press and hold on the keyboard. The cursor will then change into a mouse-like pointer. You can then use your finger or thumb to move the cursor around the screen.

2. Assign a Back Tap function.

Back Tap is a new feature in iOS 14 that allows you to assign a shortcut to a double or triple tap on the back of your iPhone. This can be really helpful for quickly launching apps, taking screenshots, or activating accessibility features. To enable Back Tap, go to Settings > Accessibility > Touch > Back Tap. From here, you can choose what action you want to happen when you double or triple tap the back of your phone.

3. Quick-switch from numbers to letters.

When you’re typing on your iPhone, you don’t have to go back to the alphabetic keyboard every time you need to type a number or symbol. Instead, simply hold down on the “123” key and slide your finger over to the key you want. This will quickly switch to the number/symbol keyboard and type the number or symbol you selected.

4. Remove last number in calculations.

If you’re making a calculation on your iPhone, you can quickly remove the last number by swiping left on it. This can be really helpful if you make a mistake or need to change the order of the numbers.

5. Drag the volume.

When you’re adjusting the volume on your iPhone, you can drag the volume slider up and down to quickly change the volume. You can also double-tap on the volume slider to quickly mute or unmute the sound.

These are just a few of the many time saving tips that you can use on your iPhone. By taking advantage of these tips, you can save yourself a lot of time and get more done.
