How to Change the Voicemail Greeting on an iPhone
Your voicemail greeting is the message that people hear when they leave you a voicemail. It’s a great way to introduce yourself and let people know what to expect when they leave a message.
Here’s how to change your voicemail greeting on an iPhone:
- Open the Phone app.
- Tap Voicemail.
- If you have multiple voicemail accounts, tap the account that you want to change the greeting for.
- Tap Greeting.
- Tap Record Greeting.
- Speak your greeting.
- When you’re finished, tap Stop.
- If you want to listen to your greeting, tap Play.
- If you’re happy with your greeting, tap Save.
Your new voicemail greeting will now be set.

- You can also change your voicemail greeting by dialing #86 from your iPhone.
- If you forget your voicemail password, you can reset it by going to Settings > Phone > Change Voicemail Password.
