Selling Your iPhone SE (2020) 64GB: Frequently Asked Questions

Thinking of getting some cash for your iPhone SE 2nd Generation 64GB? You're in luck! This FAQ will guide you through the process, answering common questions to ensure a smooth and successful sale.

How much can I get for my iPhone SE 2020 64GB?

The price depends on the condition of your phone. iPhones in pristine condition with no scratches or dents will fetch a higher price. You can enter your phones network and condition above to get an instant estimated valuation.

Where can I trade in my iPhone SE 2020 64GB?

There are several options available, each with its own pros and cons:

  • Trade-in programs: Offered by carriers and retailers, these programs let you trade your phone for store credit towards a new device. They're convenient, but prices are typically lower.
  • Online buyback services: These companies, such as WeBuyTek specialise in buying used electronics and offer competitive prices. Research different services and more importantly reviews to compare offers.
  • Selling to individuals: Platforms like online marketplaces allow you to sell directly to buyers. You can potentially get a higher price, but it requires more effort and carries some risk.

What should I do before selling my iPhone SE (2020) 64GB?

  • Back up your data: Ensure all your photos, messages, and other important information are saved to iCloud or another storage solution.
  • Factory reset: Erase all your personal data and settings to protect your privacy.
  • Removal of iCloud account: Ensure you have removed your iCloud account during the factory data reset process. We can not purchase phones which have data or iCloud accounts on them.

What condition factors affect the resale price?

  • Physical condition: Scratches, dents, or cracks will significantly lower the value.
  • Battery health: A phone with a degraded battery will fetch a lower price. Battery health of 80% or lower would mean the phone needs to be downgraded from "Good" to "Poor".
  • Functionality: Ensure all buttons, cameras, and speakers etc are working flawlessly. Any faults would mean the phone needs to be classed as faulty.
  • Liquid damage: If the phone has suffered liquid damage it would have no value.

Do I need to send the box and accessories when selling my iPhone SE 2nd Generation 64GB?

If you have booked the phone in as a "new" handset then we require the original box and accessories in order to get the full quoted price. For "good", "poor" or "faulty" conditions we just need the handset.
